Frontiere(s) IM sure alot of you hve watched it, but I just saw it for the first time and highly recomened it.
Some movies that I'll recommend:
Bad Biology
It's horror-comedy, low budget, with lots of sex and nudity. Directed by Frank Henenlotter, of "Basket Case" fame.
Trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3qE7r6AXoAE
imdb: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0974977/
Antichrist
Haute Tension
Martyrs
The Children
Inside (a l'interieur)
Grotesque
If you're looking for japanese torture gore, this is a good movie. Along with "Audition" by Takashi Miike, both are japanese, involve quite a bit of gore, although Grotesque > Audition, as far as sheer goriness of it. But Audition has more of a plotline to follow. Audition is also a bestselling book.
inside was great. i recently saw Grace and thought that was pretty good
I'll have to check out "Grace" - I haven't heard of it.
Fear
Stephen King's Storm of the century
Magic
Near Dark
Christine
Dario Argento's Oprea
Just a few recent good pics, but the list can go on and on.
The Fear*
Didn't' see these on the list so think I'm safe: Richard Stanley's "Hardware" and "Dust Devil".
Hardware
Plot Synopsis: (From IMDB)
A wandering soldier finds a robot head in the post-apocalyptic desert. He brings it back to his girlfriend for use in one of her sculptures. He investigates the origin of the head, and discovers it's from the Mark 13 project, canceled because of unreliability. His girlfriend and society at large become endangered when the robot puts itself back together using the parts she has for her sculptures.

Dust Devil
Plot Synopsis: (From IMDB)
A shape shifter (Burke) comes from the desert in search of victims, a spirit the locals call "The Dust Devil". He prays on the lonely and the unloved, those that have already lost everything but life itself. Wendy (Field) has broken up with her husband and wanders aimlessly in her car. She picks up a stranger and begins having misgivings about picking him up when strange things begin to occur. Meanwhile a local police officer (Mokae) tracks the killer. Aided by a shaman's admonishments about witchcraft he sets off to try and stop the beast before it can complete its grisly task.

One of my favorites....
I have to recommend Scar 3D. I saw a free screening of it and I laughed and screamed throughout. The blood and gore effects are great and its got some cool and unique executions. www.youtube.com/watch?v=1pQqoVhb7m4
