done! haha
:drunks:
I love his books (most) but the film adaptations are questionable.
Here it is! The trailer and the film looks scary as hell, can't wait to see IT

Would have been nice to hear the clown's voice but this looks promising so far... I already like the inclusion of scenes from the book that were missing from the mini-series, like the night club burning down. Makes me hopeful of what other awesome stuff from the book might make it into the movies.
That goofy run at the end :hehe:
I'm going to watch this. It looks good. I like when you get a glimpse of Pennywise, kinda creepy.
When hes in the sewer and goes after them, kinda dumb. His face is rather evil though.
Pennywise.
I have to say that I think it looks pretty decent. Gonna check it out for sure. If the story for this flick intrigues you, then i'd highly recommend you read the novel. It's one of Kings best IMO. There's still plenty of time to do that before this comes out.
I don't think this looks good at all. It will end up being another shitty King adaptation.
Yeah it's worth a roll of the dice given that Tim Curry aside, as well as the cast of kids, the mini-series is also a fairly shitty adapation.
That run is kinda funny though, maybe it's just edited in a weird way for the trailer?? That scream though too, sounds kind of like Chucky.
We'll have to mourn what might have been with Cary, it's too bad studios aren't willing to have a little faith in the experts every now and then and take their hands off the wheel.
I wouldn't get my hopes too high since King adaptations have an awful track record, but if it can manage to be better than the mini-series I'd be pretty satisfied, particularly when it comes to the grown-up portion of the story.
I'm pretty impressed with that trailer, I wasn't expecting much but it looks decent. Plus that kid smashes his head
The cinematography looks pretty good, but honestly, Pennywise fails to scare me this time. Seriously, that sound he made at the end reminded me of this...

I guess the studios are running with the contemporary movie's title as "It" as opposed to the 1990's mini-series version's title of "Stephen King's It". Andres Muschietti appears to have done his homework with this one.
Maybe the UHM site can upload a little Pennywise clown face-icon to go along with little Chucky and little Freddy. :confident:
