I've waited for so long to see this movie. It's been on my radar for atleast 6 months. The movie has this cool idea about something evil coming into our world at the creepy 11-11-11 date.
So I...
I just watched the third episode. It's was still rather low-key (nothing wrong with that) with some more backstory revealed. The episode was good enough to make me want to keep watching this series.
I liked the first episode of "American Horror Story" It was pretty solid. But I was disappointed with episode 2. I'm still going to watch the rest, hopefully they can keep it interesting.
The first is ok, but the second one is better (the second one has got a "Halloween 2"-vibe in a hospital setting.) The third movie (the prequel) was a disappointment unfortunately.
I'm on the fence about this one. I did enjoy the first movie, but the sequels were so and so.. But I'm probably willing to give this new one a chance.
The more I read about this movie the less I understand. Is it an Alien-prequel? Or is it something else?
I enjoyed the first one. It had a creepy vibe. I could watch a sequel.
I have to check this movie out. Looks like an interesting lowbudget flick.
A bit to artsy for me, but it looked a lot better than most microbudget productions I've seen. Best of luck with this!
I watched the teaser. It looked cool, but I'm still in the dark about the plot. I guess I'll have to wait until the full trailer is ready.
It's a solid series of movies. The pace is slow so if you like action/slashers then it's not for you. Some movies feel a bit to artsy for my taste, but the overall impression of the series is pretty...
It was ok. The first half of the movie held my interest, but then somehow I slowly lost interest. Can't really put my finger on why.
I was surprised to see a young David Copperfield (the magician) in this movie
The movie is not bad, but it's not good either. It just...nothing special. It felt like I had seent his movie many times before (including the twist end)
I liked "Ils" It's creepy. In many ways it's better than "The Strangers." I think "Ils" is based on "real events" (but I take that with a grain of salt...) That might explain the ending.
This is an excellent movie. A little cheesy, yes, but it's an 80's movie after all. It has great atmosphere and a good story. The opening sequence is really creepy and sets the tone immediately.
I've seen the original and it has lots of atmosphere.
I understand they've changed some things in this new version, including a new ending. Looking forward to see this.
Dead & Buried
In the opening scenes a photographer is mesmerized by a beautiful girl on the beach in a small coastal town. As he starts photographing her he's attacked by the townspeople and burned...
The poster looks spooky. I'll keep my eye on this.
Too "artsy" for me, but I wish you the best of luck (I have friends who are really into weird movies so there's probably a market for it)
Here's a new trailer:

This indie movie looks really good!...or is it just great marketing? I guess we'll find out soon.
I enjoyed the first one.
The second one was not good, but not so terrible I won't watch a third.
A bus full of dangerous prisoners - this sounds like it will be more action than horror.
Grossed out to hear the truth about the director...
But the first half of the first movie was great.
The sequel was...not so great.
I think I can watch a third movie as well.
I really enjoyed the Carpenter version. I think I was 13 when I saw it back in the 80's. Absolutely terrified me!
If they can capture that mood and paranoia the prequel might be enjoyable.
