12 Monkeys.
I was a fan of the original movie. Not a die-hard, it can do no wrong, fan.. but I appreciated it for what it was.

The Judge.
It's not going to make my best of 2014 list and it isn't quite worthy of any Oscars.. but it was a genuinely damn well written (and superbly acted) drama. Recommended.
Haha, Liam Hemsworth as Snake Plissken?
Kill me now.
I appreciate his honesty. It's refreshing.:2thumbs:
Ahh man, now I'm going to have to hunt down me some '90s Outer Limits.
This movie was an abortion in terms of writing and creativity. The rating system isn't applicable.

Scrooged.
I haven't watched this movie in a looooooong time. I never realized that Robert Mitchum was Bill Murray's boss, that was pretty damn cool.

I had fun little ride with this shlock fest. Made me want to watch the Blob. BAD.
I put a bush on my head. I'm not sure what it does...

I set fire to the forest, am living off of berries, and was just dragged into the darkness by a clawed creature I could hear but not see.
So your critique is that GotG took a step backwards in terms of realism in comic book movie adaptations?
I can respect that.
Ahh, I wish my pos pc could run Borderlands.
Picked up the Don't Starve and Don't Starve: Together bundle.
Holy shit, that's hilarious. That's exactly what I thought about the flick.
Sadly I watched it on the SYFY channel, so no warning.
Watched:
Frankenstein (1931) - I really liked this flick. ...
the Prestige.
Loved it. David Bowie as Nikola Tesla was a stroke of casting ingeniousness.
I was referring to this when I made my kettle black comment.
You are essentially criticizing the movie for succeeding in accomplishing what they set out to make. You say it's hard not to laugh at...
It's probably because the movie is too mainstream.
Bitch, you sure you're not a hipster?
L.A. Apocalypse
A twentysomething slacker braves danger and drags his friends with him to save his ex-girlfriend that is currently seeing a new guy... and I.. wait.. haven't I already seen this...
Yeah, but that's like criticizing a kettle for being black.
GotG, the comic, is a pretty absurd little piece of writing. When I heard that they were planning on making a Hollywood adaptation.. I...

hey, let's leave the mothers out of this.
Plus, if you're going to argue the idea of blue skinned aliens you'd have to go wayyyyy back to pulp sci-fi zines in England. I think it had a lot to do...
Utopia. Really dig it. (The British sci-fi show, not the American reality show).
the Missing.
A surprisingly good series, had me hooked until the finale.
That was, without a doubt, in my top 10 worst finales of all time. For a series that got so much right.. they broke...
I was already to check this out when it came out until I read some posts online of people who have actually seen the movie. It seemed pretty unanimous that this movie was absolute shit and doesn't...
 that scene with his mom in the kitchen while he's tripping balls was hilarious.
Mathew Lillard is an odd actor for me. He has some roles that I absolutely despise.. but then he has roles...
