Funny Games maybe?
Hey guys and gals. Been a long time. I had to drop in and say hi and also display my excitement after seeing the trailer for this. This looks like it's going to be good.
Hereditary - Quite interesting and somewhat disturbing, bud sadly the movie kept degrading into a pile of crap as it went along. 5/10
Wow, really high score. I gave it a 6.5/10 I really liked the opening Georgie scene, but not a whole lot of the rest. It was watchable.
Okay, you've watched a movie. Leave a fucking review. I can't be aresed to watch every fucking movie that's ever made.
Mirrors with Kiefer Sutherland. Had to leave the theater it was so bad.
Be My Cat: A Film for Anne - If you're going to make an independent film with a shoestring budget, this is how you make it. Disturbing, clever scenes, and probably the best film you can find that...
Agreed. That was POS movie. How can anyone like that low budget garbage? At the time though, they passed it off as real, and I believed it like the fool I am.
I'm surprised at how unrecognizeable Paul Reiser is in this. Whoa, he's really changed over the years.
Man, that Dragon's Lair at the arcade really brings it back. First arcade game to cost 50 cents. I first saw the game in Texas at a Chuck E. Cheese in 1983. There was a line halfway across the...
I've watched the 1st four episodes so far. Now I remembered why I like this show so much. They kinda do a whole lot of nothing and there is some filler, but they've got that 80's vibe down pat. I...
I recognized that sample they were using in the song. I remembered it from Fritz the Cat. Billie Holiday's Yesterdays. I like this but girl shouldn't sing in the choruses. She can rap but damn...
I watched that feminist episode last week and it was almost too much to take. I haven't really watched any of the series, but some chick wanted me to watch it with her, now I regret it. :leave:
All episodes for S2 are up today. Hmmmm, might marathon the whole thing today.
Jeepers Creepers 3 - What a fucking letdown. The kills were lame, the story answered nothing, and the Creeper's truck was scarier than he was. 4.5/10
They really screwed up Rick and Morty this year. There were a couple of really funny episodes, but it was mostly forgettable.
Two different movies with the same exact twist.
My issue with this movie is that it's basically a carbon copy of Indentity(2003).
The Babysitter - Pretty good and interesting film. I liked it slightly better than Better Watch Out. The scenes with the shirtless guy were way too stupid though, so points off for that. 6.5/10
A Dark Song - Nice atmosphere and acting with a decent buildup, only to be let down big time with the end result. Take away the foul language and nudity and you wind up with a Lifetime channel...
Feast II: Sloppy Seconds - Why oh why did I watch this? This film was just all over the place and the director thought he was gonna pull a Tarantino with all the jump-cut scenes, but failed...
Minutes Past Midnight - Nice little horror anthology. I watched it after seeing FM's recommendation in the Let's Play forum. I thought The Feeding was a fantastic short. There were a couple of bad...
Wish Upon - Pretty shit movie. Lame deaths, predictable as hell, and clueless characters. 4/10
Two Pigeons also known as Freehold(2017) - It's listed as horror, but it's really just some creepy dude hiding out in a guy's apartment. All I can tell you is it's some fucked up shit. The actors...
My thoughts exactly. It was good in the sense that it hadn't been done in awhile, but it was ultimately flat in story.
