I wouldn't worry too much about this remake happening until something official is released. They've been talking about it for years, so it's safe to say it probably still won't happen anytime soon...

I don't think this project is even moving forward right now. The studio is probably still working on a script. Can't always trust IMDB when it comes to updates and valid info :shrugs:
