For me I would like it to feel more like Alien than Aliens. Dark, unpredictable, sense of dread. I'm not looking for action sci-fi.
I have to say with how awful 4 is I like the aliens effects and design the best in that film, minus the shitty hybrid at the end.
Looks like Michael Biehn might be on board as well.

A bunch of movie buffs together should show diversity in their views which I believe is shown in every single thread on this site regarding movies. Been here for ages, always been that way.
