It's still a remakes though. Just because they go more toward the source material doesn't keep it from being a remake. It just makes it a BETTER movie.

I'd definitely say The Thing is not only the best remake it would probably be my favorite horror movie of all time!!
The 70s Invasion of the Body Snatchers with Donald Sutherland was pretty kick...
