The cartoon bear in the Wolfman movie took me out of the whole mood. I tried.
Other than the Walking Dead, which took the sub genre in a fresh direction, any time I hear of another new zombie movie which is overplayed to death, and generally badly, I just groan.
Groan.....
Who looks for good acting in a 'Hatchet' movie?
At first I thought that was Jamie Lee Curtis in that one pic. Had to do a double take.
I saved Ben. I wonder if that's why what's her face with the handy tool leaves the group.
I think the white stripes on the shoulders mainly threw me off. At first blush, the '92 Cap movie costume looks more true, oddly enough.
If I were to nitpick, Cap's costume was kinda weak. His WW2 getup was cooler.
Chapter 4 is the best cliffhanger yet. Think I'm gonna lose my marbles...
Neon... 80's.
Cabin In the Woods
Pretty fun comedy/satire, but any horror was as stale as what they were mocking. I feel kinda tricked on that level.
Boxee is my video/audio jukebox :yes2:
Simpsons is fine for 5 minute nostalgia but pointless after that.
Well worth 10 bucks on psn and xbl. I think it's still currently free for PS+ subscribers.
It's essentially a reimagining of the 80's Double Dragon beat 'em up. Over the top 80's is splashed all...
Part of the problem is Halloween isn't as special as something like Christmas. We watch horror movies all year around, unlike Christmas movies, so the schedules aren't all that refreshing or...
It pleases me as an Avengers reader in the 70's/80's, but it is so well done, you don't have to be a fanboy of any kind to enjoy it. This is an all time top comic book movie. It's fun and the...
Going with the bigger budgets, The Fog and Prom Night remakes are atrocious, even if the originals never existed. Even crap like Hell of the Living Dead is 100% preferable over that shizzle.
RDR: Undead Nightmare was done pretty well.
Bioware announced today that a Mass Effect trilogy collection will roll out Nov. 7th. 60 bucks. They also announced that it kicks off the annual 'N7 Day'... whatever the hell that means.
But the...
Indy Jones blu ray set ftw.
Each franchise had some truely rotten entries. I'd say FvJ falls in the middle, leaning closer to the good stuff.
I'd really like to see one more Robert Englund Freddy for the road. Even at it's...
VLC i mean. Sorry, can't edit post for some reason.
VLS used to be my go to for movie watching on PC.
I bought a Boxee Box for my TV and it plays just about every vid file I've thrown at it. Pricey though... $150 I think?
So many great movies from so many decades, but the one decade that always seems to stand out on top for me is the 80's.
Whether great, fun, iconic, or just entrenched in pop culture, the 80's is...
... unless they're naked in jello, am I right?
Guilty, mindless pleasures. I catch 'em all. I found the last one fun even if it is stupid.
Oh fuuuuuuuuuuuuudddgggee...
