The story was perfectly adequate; it was as deep as it needed to be.
And yes, it absolutely deserves a sequel. It's gotta be one of the best action movies I've ever seen.
Best:
The Collection
Worst:
The Possession
The Tall Man
V/H/S
Paranormal Activity 4
Silent House
Devil Inside
Klown? what the hell?
I think his movies are alright, but he's the only filmmaker on the planet that can't write a script.
It's tiring to hear people complain about 3D. It's a gimmick, that has been established.
I would agree on calling Fulci a hack. His films are so awful I can barely sit through them these days.
I'm not a fan of those kinds of horror movies. It's so easy to put together some...
Of course not, and I didn't mean to say that. I just meant to say that it's disappointing because Peter Jackson works so hard at what he does, and it didn't turn out quite as well as maybe he might...
What a nice surprise. I like how it doesn't look like its stealing too much from the original, only key elements. I might actually check it out.
It's really a shame to see this get mixed reviews; Peter Jackson is a man that puts so much effort into his work.
Looks absolutely epic!!!! DEL TORO IS BACK!!!!!!111
Yeah, it only holds a 52% on Rotten Tomatoes. It seems to be split between those who understand horror and those that don't.
I used to be a Black Christmas fan, though not so much anymore. It's a fun little movie if you like slashers, the first one to bring all the elements together really.
:hmmm: Atleast it looks like he's trying something a little different. But Will Smith is just annoying; whenever I see him I think of all the shitty comedic acts he's had.
Meh, I'll see it depending...
Sorry about the bump, but can I please say how fucking pissed off I am about this? Oldboy is one of my favorites, and I take this shit personally. I am going to be so pissed off when everybody's...
I seem to remember this from BD :hehe:
Why is everyone watching Feast? That was practically an unwatchable 'film'.
Yasujiro Ozu's I Was Born, But...
Let's see how many of you recognize that. A true silent masterpiece.
I hated the first half of The Hills Have Eyes remake, which felt like it was stolen from the original, but absolutely loved the original material. For me it's a 5/10. IMO the true remake masterpiece...
Shame - 8/10
:hmmm:
I haven't seen this remake and don't plan to; the idea of a shot-for-shot remake just sounds so lazy to me, like they don't even try. But at the same time, you can't get much lower than...
M
I gave up on this series after the second one. Goddamn those were some shitty movies.
Yeah, I'm not surprised you disagree. That's just what I remember thinking back when Orphan came out, which was before I knew anything about film. I haven't seen either of them in a really long time.
The Human Condition trilogy
Mulholland Drive
:)
