I think I've made this abundantly clear before, but if my profile picture isn't enough of a giveaway, I love the Evil Dead. Without hesitation, I can say that it is my favorite horror movie of all...
Hellgate. Not so good... I'm all about cheesy movies, but goddamn.
:sigh:
I'm really not sure how to feel about this one. I'm not holding out much hope, despite how much love I have for Nick Swardson and the bunch at Happy Madison.
Completely agree. The Fourth Kind blew as much as Milla Jovovich in the back of Paul W.S. Anderson's trailer. What began as a serious watch ended as a goddamned MST3K session for me and my friends.

I've gotta say, the first Child's Play movie is really fucking solid. While the others (3 and beyond) have really tried to capitalize on the comic nature of a goddamned murderous doll, the first...
Yeah, this flick, while not terrible by itself, did nothing to capture the spirit (no pun intended) of the original. The 80's version is my idealistic embodiment of a solid B-movie: great effects,...
Ahh, the good ol' days of bootleg vhs tapes. Long ago, that's where I found my copy of the Producer's Cut of Halloween 6: The Curse of Michael Myers.
To relate it back to the topic, this is my...
It was a pretty fun film. I enjoyed the very self-aware overtones throughout. John Ritter was pretty awesome as well. The last scene is hilarious.
Just as an aside, this is a really great concept for a topic, Splat. I have a lot of fond memories related to horror, and I'm obviously not the only one.
Aaah! Zombies!!
Fantastic movie. Great spin on classic genre conventions.
Motel Hell was pretty effin' awesome. Two words: CHAINSAW BATTLE.
My first brush with horror that I can remember has to be when I was no older than 3 or 4. All I remember specifically was blotches of purple, red, and off-white, and some(thing) trapped in a cellar....
Night of the Demons is still one of my favorite 80's standalone titles. Still love the lipstick gag to this day.
Killjoy.

:giggle:
Thought that was hilaaaarious.
Love me some Clive Barker. "Great and Secret Show" was pretty damned epic.
:rocker:
Got Sin City yesterday, fucking finally. $9.99 at FYE. Crazy cheap.
I met the creators of this film at last years Horrorhound convention in Cinci. Dustin's a super nice guy; he and his crew were very excited to talk about the project with anyone who happened to stop...
Dead and Breakfast
I really enjoyed Session 9. I have a soft spot for creepy old asylums. Unfortunately, the hospital featured in the film has since been destroyed... :wavecry:
The OG version of Martyrs is fantastic...
Outhouses are pretty classic; do you enjoy those too? Strangely enough, besides both being classics, "In the Mouth of Madness" and an outhouse share something else in common in that they are both...
Nerded it up and replayed Sonic 2 for the millionth time. :gamer:
All chaos emeralds and super fast completion. No big whoop. :coolburns:
**God I need a life**
I'll have to check out Buio Omega. I bought Anthropophagus on a whim and I could take it or leave it. There were a lot of dead scenes where things drug on too long, which is to be expected of a film...
I have to offer a dissenting opinion: I hated this movie. Haaaated this movie. For my close circle of friends and myself, cheesy B-horror is our forte. One particular winter a couple of years ago, we...
