Wow, Im the noobster. All that aside, would you rate The Fog above any of Carpenter's movies that I mentioned?

Definitely one of my favorites.
Yeah your right, its not fair to put that on the list. I guess I've always associated the film with him rather than Bava because he wrote the screen play.
It was good but definitely not one of the best ever. 7/10 is an accurate rating for a cool flick.
I agree with steelba in the fact that this really isn't one of his best, but I did enjoy it. I prefer these over it though:
Halloween
The Thing
They Live
Big Trouble In Little China
The...
KMFDM - Angst
Diary of Dreams - Freak Perfume
ASP - Requiembryo
Suspiria is a great flick. I think this was the second Argento movie that I had ever seen, and some of the scenes still give me goosebumps today. I'm also a big fan of Argento's:
Tenebre
Deep...
This actually looks pretty cool. I hope by some grace of god that Robert Englund has some kind of cameo in this.
Looks pretty cool. I'm looking forward to this one.
Well, your word about the film is much appreciated. :beerchug2:
Mark Dacascos makes this worth checking out on its own. Strange that I haven't heard of it, but then again I was stuck in mainstream hell (Blockbuster) for quite some time.
One of the best transformation scenes ever on film. I really enjoy this one, but I'm on the fence about this being the best werewolf film ever(I really like the original Howling, as well). ...
I watched this years ago and remembered liking it. I started digging through my old DVDs and still have a copy, so maybe after I get off work in the morning Ill give it another watch.
Razorback
Alligator 2: The Mutation
Mutter - Rammstein
Embryodead - Wumpscut
7 - Apoptygma Berzerk
There are just some things that you do not do, and this is one of them. The original NOES is one of my favorite movies, and what Im hearing is very disappointing. I may very well be skipping this...
I might end up checking this out on Tuesday...I may be at the theater anyway for a prescreening of Drag Me To Hell, so why not.
As long as we get nothing nearly as wretched as that cardboard cut out shark slowly inching towards its prey(JAWS 3-D) then I'm interested.
Many thanks for sharing. It looks pretty damn good. I'm definitely checking this one out.
Jesus saves the world again woohoo! :coolbeer:
It does look pretty cool though, I'll probably check it out.
As for SCI-FI at 2pm on Saturday...I have traveled down that road of pain many a...
Clive Barker's Book of Blood
5/10
It starts out with a nut punch and ends with a whimper...
Dog Soldiers... :(
Here's hoping. I do agree that the current batch of PG-13 films have usually fallen short of anything resembling entertainment.
I like the idea. I've always wanted another Ghostbusters movie, as long as it stayed faithful to the previous entries in the series. As far as new faces in this I wouldn't mind seeing David...
I'm on the fence about this film. I am and have been excited about it for some time. I just don't see how this can be a Terminator film with a PG-13 rating.
