Most recent horror movie you just watched

Joy Ride 3 ..........Matthew Kimbrough should have been kept on as Rusty Nail..his appearance was more menacing than the other two actors although this last film had someone that played Jason Vorhees. Script writers for this third entry into the franchise are just that ........third rate.

Although it wasn't all that bloody, didn't have any tension, and was quite predictable the story was pretty solid

The story was interesting, but the script was bad, especially anything to do with the Warrens who are just ridiculous quacks, had bad ghost make-up, made use of tired supernatural tropes like digitally distorted "scream face" and hackneyed contortionist schtick for possession. It had at least three well done scares though that were really well done.

Overall though nothing to do with the family and none of their performances were really given enough room to be or feel real. I never felt like I was watching something happen to real people. This was just actors saying lines, unlike what you get in something like The Entity or Poltergeist...or The Shining or The Exorcist.

Almost Human......Meh.....reminds me of a low budget.......poorly written version of The Body Snatchers....rent it f you have to

Monkey's Paw......still in search of anything decent in the way of horror films recently released to dvd....I really need to be more discriminating when I see these things on store shelves....just perpetuating the bad films being released

Insidious 2
The first was good although I had some problems with it, but still had good tension. This one felt comedic to me. It didn't feel the same as the first. At least no hooves in this one.
