Sure it's a by-the-numbers horror flick, but it's still just as much fun now as it was then. Zahn is good fun and Paul Walker, well what can you say. He certainly grew as an actor over the years, but more importantly than that...the guy will be missed.

This one sucked back in 2008 upon first viewing and well....yeah it still sucks and remains a lackluster sequel. Definitely a pass on this one, there's nothing redeemable or noteworthy about it. Let's hope the recently released third outing for Rusty Nail fairs better. Fingers crossed!!!!

Whew! Thankfully this one was certainly a step up from its lacking predecessor; 'Dead Ahead.' It remains a by-the-numbers series but this time around you've got Declan O'Brien exiting his long-running duties with the "Wrong Turn" franchise (Part 6 slated for a DTV release in October 2014) and taking over the Rusty Nail files. Worth a rental and a buy at the right price, and don't miss the Large Marge special feature. That bit alone was totally awesome. I'm sure we'll hear word of FOX Home Entertainment moving ahead with part 4 and no doubt Declan will be at the helm. Happy horror everyone!

I was pleasantly surprised by the first Joy Ride. Leelee Sobieski must have rubbed ice cubes on her nipples between every single take as well. That didn't suck.

...still not sure. I'll likely have to watch it again. It's sorta a throwback to 70s style arty scifi-horror, like Beyond the Black Rainbow only with far less style (the trailer for this film made it seem like it was more stylish, from a production design and cinematography standpoint, than it actually is). It's kinda The Woman Who Fell To Earth, ala the very arty David Bowie movie, but with a horror element.

It is really weird with one of the coolest, most disturbing things I've ever seen in a film of this type, but it's mostly following an alien predator who looks like a woman around with some to be expected fish-out-of-water trappings and her picking up strange men. Some of that is interesting in a sort of meta way because the van she's driving around is full of these tiny HD cameras and they did some of it with non-actors. Throughout the film is similar hidden camera footage (likely without permits or anything) of a wigged up ScarJo mingling with regular people in public.

The trailer and the promise of getting to see ScarJo's naughty bits had me intrigued from the get-go. It wasn't exactly what I was expecting on either score. Turns out she's more attractive with clothes on.
