Sector 7 (2011) Pretty cheesy over the top Korean creature feature. Some of the actors were genuinely funny. I enjoyed myself, didn't try to take it too seriously 6.5/10.

Near Dark

...I go back and forth on whether this or Habit is my favorite vampire film. Tonight it's this one. I was really surprised to see that Cinemax had it in HD on-demand. Thankfully it wasn't just a blow-up and actually looked pretty good. I was only planning on watching up to when they first grab a smoking Caleb and make off with him in the Winnebego but I ended up being sucked in and watching all the way.

The massacre in the bar is still just crazy good.

The Tangerine Dream score has long been a favorite of mine. And Jenny Wright was just soooo goddamn pretty back then.

The Rats (2002) - if you want a good 90 minute killer rat movie.. well the cast is good, it doesn't have much gore but the pacing is solid. 6/10

The Purge: Anarchy. For being the sequel to a movie I really didn't care for at all, I was extremely impressed. Much better. 8/10

Sxtape - ever seen a movie with a character that is so annoying that you want to jump into the TV and hit them? That is every character in this movie. Seriously don't bother unless you are completely shit faced then it might be watchable.

She's recently guest written for a horror mag, I forget which, either Rue Morgue or Fango, and she discusses this time of her career. She's fucking insane and I guess always has been, on top of being a coke head. That kind of almost wild animal twitchiness and unpredictable aura about her was apparently intriguing to a lot of folks back then. I always found it incredibly sexy, despite being generally uneasy around non Jenny Wright looking people who exhibit twitchy, unpredictable behavior.
