Infliction - wooden acting and a bad script but after sx tape it is Citizen Kane.

Only my second viewing of this. I didn't like it the first time, and really didn't like it this time. Maybe a 5/10.

...horrible. The opening montage of re-enacted scenes mixed with scenes from the original was largely unnecessary. The hillbilly showdown was so poorly written, acted, staged and otherwise realized I was ready to switch it off from there. It was just stupid. I had to stick around to see at least one scene with Alexandra though. And that just pissed me off further, the scene in the hick grocery store staffed by ridiculously too attractive for this scenario trio, though a dressed down butcher getup Daddario was still more attractive than the over but not actually hick style made-up co-workers. The scene with her kidnapper adoptive parents was all I could stand. As dumb and off-timed and CW/WB as it was the version with Jessica Biel was at least slick looking and purdy. This was just bad.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre III - a step down from Part II, and a world away from Part I. Still not too bad, but mainly a re-hash, as most sequels are. Ken Foree's character is the best addition. Still, nothing too great. 6/10

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974) - this is definitely up there with the best. Remastered blu-ray looks amazing.

I'm opposite of that. I much prefer pt 3 over 2. I liked 2, but just found it a little over the top.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation (1994) - awful.. not as bad as Texas Chainsaw 3D, but worse than the remake. Matthew McConaughey's performance is so annoying.. and the rest of the cast is pretty bad as well. What was the point of the 'illuminati' subplot? Bad, bad movie.
