Blood on the Reel, 2016. 10/10
These two hours I've learned so much more about indie filmmaking and my respect has grown immensely. The passion and determination of these directors/writers to get their films made just makes me even more a fan. I am truly dedicated with my support and with my place, Extreme Horror Cinema, to help support someones idea, dream, vision .... Kinda got a bit taken back seeing Pete Ellott mentioning my forum and our dedication to independent film. Fuck. This is exactly where I wanted to go with EHC.

Bled White, 2011. 7/10
I really liked this film. I didn't even mind the 'zombies' were fast and running. FX was simple but very good. I heard this was filmed in Chicagoland but didn't recognize any of the scenery until end credits, parts were filmed in St. Charles, IL..a town not too far from me. Loved the camera work.

All Hallow's Eve 2- I liked this one. Some of the stories dragged a little but surely everyone could find something they liked in there. Basically like episodes of Tales From the Darkside except with better effects. 7/10. Definitely worth a look and it's on a certain site for free right now.
Seventh Moon- I kinda enjoyed it. It had some okay gore but damn at a couple of jump-scares. That's a cheap tactic, basically just a flinch reaction. Either F13th part 2 or 3 had the damn cat come flying(thrown, according to some of the staff) through the window for a jump scare. Anyway, demonic creatures chasing a newlywed couple through a small Chinese village. 5/10.
Unfriended- It was on my Showtime Anytime horror list and I was bored. Really thought I was gonna hate it. Interesting concept but you have to read so much, better have a big tv and sit close up. I hated that the camera was so shaky during death scenes. They should've kept it in focus and shown the deaths clearly. Interesting concept and cool story line kept me interested enough. 6/10.
It Follows- Another teen flick that recently popped up on my HBO?/Starz?/Showtime? I really, really thought I was gonna hate this one, but it's the best out of the lot of my recently watched horrors. The camera shots and music were top notch. One could tell the director was somewhat imitating Carpenter's Halloween from the opening shots and music. I recommend seeing it at least once. 7.5/10.

Sloppy the Psychotic , 2012. 7/10
Hahaha, this was fucking awesome. This was brought to my attention from the doco Blood on the Reel. Mike O'Mahony was one of the directors in that film and this is his movie. : )
Several more films from Blood on the Reel I never heard of and I'm gonna seek out. I wanna see everything indie!

Funhouse Massacre, 2015. 7/10
I rented this for 6 bux and it's a comedy. Wtf. Hahaha. it's okay cause it was quite good. The gore was fantastic and my favorite killer was the Taxidermist played by Clint Howard who I adore. The minute the reporter walked into the asylum I knew what was gonna happen. Escaped mental patients that are serial killers go to a FunHouse and replace the actors playing them on Halloween and ..just kill everyone! How fun.
Escaped mental, deranged killers...ahhh think I'll revisit Lucifer's Angels, more comforting. ; )

I watched Mutilation Man, pfffft, 4/10. I didn't like it at all. All Hallow's Eve keeps sticking with me. I watched it last night, and I'm about to watch it again. That shit was wicked.

We Need To Talk About Kevin, 2011. 8/10
Holy fuck was this good. It took me too long to watch this. Pure evil. I do have some thoughts. People may disagree. Born like this or not nurtured enough to form bonds with mother/parents. The parenting sucked here. She never seemed to even want him. She was always thinking about the past and traveling. When that baby was crying and difficult, I woulda used all my power to comfort/bond/sooth my child before anything. She seemed bothered. The mother and Kevin were kinda the same minus the psychopathness. Haunting film but I do have to say Kevin was hot as fuck, well at least the actor playing him was. I feel like shooting some arrows.

Seen this one awhile back and thought it was pretty good, but didn't really consider it horror perhaps some elements of it made it horror. As I've said it's been awhile since I've seen it; need to find where I put I and give it another watch
Event Horizon
Nightmare Man
Madman

Like, so many people out there were trying to track this down. And it just...got delivered on a tweet. What the hell.
