Even Lambs Have Teeth - 2/10 - Bad characters, bad direction, bad writing, expected.
Victor Crowley - 5.5/10 - A lot better than i'd thought it would be
Small Town Crime - 7/10 - This has very different characters than you'd expect, which create for a very different feel. It could have been better but it also could have been much worse.
Super Dark Times - 8.5/10 - Super Great Time. What a fuckin movie, even the semi-expected end was very well done and with the wrong director it could have been very typical or bad. What a fucking gem of a find. I inititally avoided this because it looked like it was trying to piggyback off Stranger Things but man, i could not have been more wrong.
Tragedy Girls - 4/10 - Not very creative, the characters are rather uninteresting and dull..... meh.
Happy Death Day - 4/10 - Groundhog day as a slasher.
Still/Born - 5/10 - expected but decent. Not a great flick, it does not make a whole lot of sense but if you turn your brain off and watch, youll enjoy.
Padman -NA/10 - So this is not a traditional horror movie but by its synopsis i think most men would consider it one... the first sentence reads....... "Concerned about his wife Gayatri's menstrual hygiene..." It says its a comedy, i dont understand how this can be a comedy as that first sentence is more terrifying than anything ive experienced in a decade of horror movies... sooooo.... i might give a chance.

Caught the finale of Don't Torture a Duckling on American Horrors earlier. Solid flick, but that falling puppet is atrocious. Every time I see that bit I can't help but wonder what the hell Fulci was thinking. Incidentally, Ha! No sooner do I finish typing that sentence then I turn on American Horrors, and this flick is on again.

Victor Crowley - I love this series and the mindless killing with great practical effects....that being said this one to me is easily the worst one in the series. Had high hopes.
The Ritual - I wish we had a little more creature. Was a pretty solid flick though. Great characters

Make Them Die Slowly (aka Cannibal Ferox, 1981). I went through my Italian cannibal phase back in the late '80s and was disgusted enough by them that I've never bothered watching any of them again since. Then last week I saw Eaten Alive! (ugh) for the first time and decided hey, it's been thirty years, maybe it's time I go back and re-evaluate some of those cannibal flicks. So last night I checked out MTDS, which was one of the flicks I saw and hated back when. As it turns out, no re-evaluation was necessary. It's still a repulsive piece of shit, packed to the gills will typically unimaginative direction from Umberto Lenzi (RIP, but still...), awful acting, illogical storytelling and more animal slaughter than any other two Italian cannibal flicks combined. A real turd from first frame to last. 1/10
