The Door (2009) AKA Die Tur - outstanding German thriller/chiller/horror...very very well done 8/10

Récompence. This movie has the word "mindfuck" written all over it. The amount of ways to interpret this fine piece of work are innumerable. It features stunning scenery, which blends in magnificiently with the accompanying music.

909 Experiment - hard to find, but worth it IMO... movie was made back in 2000, and is alleged to have been the source that fired Oren Peli into making Paranormal Activity - there are some direct lifts from 909 that Peli used in PA, yet strangely enough, Wayne A Smith's movie has never got a distributer. Given it WAS original at the time, I score it as an 8/10 - only taking into account WHAT it is, and WHAT I know about it. Oren Peli is scum, I hate nothing worse than plagiarizers who take from others and pass of as their own.

909 - it's one of those you need to see in context - proper indie *cult* stuff that unfortunately will never see the light of day.
