Brilliant film. One of my favourite Polanski's, behind Chinatown & Rosemary's Baby of course.

Land of the Dead (2005)
Although not quite up there with the great first three, I still really enjoy 'Land of the Dead'. Its a dam good time!
What really bugs me about it is George A. Romero's lazy use of some bad CGI instead of practical effects, which were just so brilliantly done in the two that preceded LOTD. And whereas the first three just look and feel like Romero zombie films, this one reminds me too much of 'Escape from New York' and 'Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome'.
Other than that, solid direction and writing with great characters and another socially aware satire and a great cast to boot, make this an entertaining time.
It gets a soild *** out of **** from me. I'm still on the fence about the last two.

Has anyone here seen Attack the Block? I did a theater search and there's nothing showing it within 400 miles of me
Just curious if it's worth the hype
