The Blob (1958) - 4/10 - Cheesy old sci-fi/horror. Okay but very dated.

I just found it very dated and very slow going, needed more kills and in particular more gory kills. Steve McQueen as ever is great but the rest of the cast weren't that good. It was fun and the effects were okay in a cheesy way but it just doesn't really warrant much more than a 4 for me.

Nosferatu - Herzog's 1979 version 7/10
Shadow of the Vampire - Not exactly horror but an interesting movie. Willem Dafoe plays a creepily entertaining vampire 8/10

Turistas. I liked the first half a lot, but after they got out of the cages (not really a spoiler, don't worry) it just seemed repetitive and lacking.
Last Flick Seen: WolfCop - 5/10 The Quiet Ones - 2/10 Starry Eyes - 6/10

The Mummy (1932 w/Boris Karloff), decent flick for its time 7/10.
The Invisible Man (1933 w/Claude Rains), excellent 9/10.
The Creature from the Black Lagoon (1954 w/Richard Carlson), absolutely loved this film, for me it's up there with the likes of Psycho 10/10.

Plane Dead (aka Flight Of The Living Dead or Zombies On A Plane) - 7/10 - Actually really enjoyed this. Lots of action, tons of kills, very gory, some good humour and completely absurd... everything you want in a DTV flick.

Plane Dead 7/10
I actually enjoyed this more than Land of the Dead, although that isn't saying much...
