Pitch Perfect...watched it with da wife...actually was a pretty good flick...if you enjoy music aqnd acapella style groups...you'll like this flick...

Plus adam from Wrokaholics was fuckin hilarious in it!!

Dredd (2012) (first time watching)

Not bad at all... they nailed the specifics right, Karl Urban is a great Dredd, way better than Sylvester Stallone. I was a bit worried about the female sidekick because that sometimes mean a mushy subplot (blame hollywood), but she did fine in the role and had some badass moments. Lena Headey was a suitably twisted and evil bitch as the villain.

Most impressive is the cinematography, very sparse and no shaky cam bullshit or rapid-fire editing where you can't understand what is going on. The urban wasteland setting was cool as well.

I like the 90s version as well but this is slightly better, mainly because of no annoying comic relief and more mean-spirited violence. 8/10 GIVE US A SEQUEL!
