Gravity
...not really a fan of 3D but it worked here. It also helped that it's almost entirely animated so most of the film uses a full-depth right eye generated the same as the left eye. The interior shots with Bullock have more of the Viewmaster look you get from stereo conversion applied to normal photography.
Really cool technically. The crew at Framestore did a pretty fantastic job on animation, texture, lighting and effects.
The movie part was okay. I expected to have my socks knocked off but I guess after having seen the lengthy teasers so often I wasn't as breathless and tense as I'd hoped to be. And one part totally pissed me off:
Spoiler...
Clooney's martyrdom was too easy and that time spent having a conversation about how he was going to un-hook and Bullock should just "let go" could have been spent by his character pulling himself towards her since the cable was still wrapped several times around her leg nearly to her knee when he determined it was better to sacrifice himself. She still almost blew it multiple times after he did so and then almost blacked out before moseying along to the airlock. The action and urgency just didn't seem to gel with the gravity of the situation.
