Die Hard - 10/10
Did Mr. Takagi know the codes? I do not think anyone could really tell by his facial expressions if he was telling the truth or not. It seems arbitrary though as Takagi never had a chance with Hans Gruber there. Hans was always going to target him first of course (not factoring in the building security guards). What part of the movie did you like the best? I think I enjoyed the scene where McClane finds Hans alone on the floor and he pretends to be an innocent hostage. I liked how he bought enough time for the terrorists to arrive from the elevator spraying fire at McClane.

I think Takagi knew, but he probably figured he was dead one way or the other and it's always better to go honorably. Best scene for me was John McClane crawling through the ventilation muttering to himself "Come out to the coast, we'll get together, have a few laughs..." next would be when he's on the radio with 911 operator thinking he's a prank caller and he responds with "No fucking shit, lady. Does it sound like I'm ordering a pizza?" So many great scenes.
