Footsteps
This movie looks awesome, I just read an article about it and cannot wait to get my hands on it. Here is a link to the website http://www.randomfilms.co.uk/footsteps/
I am not really sure if this truly falls under underground or exploitation, maybe not even horror, but the plot sounds awesome and the few reviews I have read are all very very positive.
It deals with a guy named "cameraman" that enjoys filming beatings, rapes, torture and all kinds of shit. Has anyone ever heard of this film, if so what have you heard about it?

Hi everyone,
I'm the director of Footsteps, Gareth Evans. Glad to see that you're looking forward to seeing the film - i'll just clear up a few ambiguities about the plot.
Basically the film centres around a young guy named Andrew (Nicholas Bool) who after a series of fairly severe set-backs finds himself drawn into the world of a snuff organisation led by the "Cameraman" (Jared Morgan) and his lackey "Paul" (Mads Koudal). Completely unlike 8mm - Andrew is taken to an everyday office space where they even have an accountant, he is forced to first witness and then play a part in the horrific acts they carry out on video.
Leaving a scar on his conscience he wants out but it's going to be a rough ride with a lot of spilt blood before he can get anywhere near redemption.
The film caused a bit of a stir on its premiere with a few walk-outs due to the violence of its closing 20mins - we tried to present it in an almost hyper-real way to really make an impact, the film builds towards it but it was just a bit too much for some to take.
Anyways I've babbled enough about the film now. For those interested in seeing Footsteps there will be a US release coming up this summer through Unearthed Films, meanwhile we're trying to get a UK, European and Japanese release to follow.
Hope you guys like the film and if you have any questions feel free to ask.

Hell yeah, if people are walking out of the movie theater because it was too violent, it is definitely my kind of movie. I am so happy Unearthed picked this up. Can't wait.

Unearthed is definitely one of the best companies around right now.
