I think I'm going avoid the DVD screener and check it in theatres? Hopefully it's worth the $7.75

According to IMDB the budget was an estimated $8-million. It doesn't surprise me that the flick flopped at the box office since the mainstream audience is either looking for a lot of gore or a big budgeted mainstream flick. Plus a movie like this is a bit hard to market anyway, since it's not gearing towards any specific audience really. Regardless, it'll make its money back in DVD sales.

Gotta agree with Fright, DVD sales are usually high for horror flicks. I still haven't seen it but I will probably check a torrent in a bit.

Especially with the cheap tactic of releasing an "Unrated version," which usually doesn't consist more than a couple extra minutes of footage

I doubt they'll make TV spots for the DVD release though. Whenever it comes to DVD, they'll probably throw it on the shelves leaving it for people to find it themselves.

    ***SPOILERS***

So I went to this last night. Me, a female friend, and some guy I don't know. LMMFAO long story, don't ask.

But yeah, the movie started at 9:40pm, and we got there at 9:50pm. We were hoping the trailers would still be playing. As it turns out, NO ONE bought tickets for P2, so they had to SPECIALLY play it just for us three. Pretty bad ass.

It was one of the smallest theatres out of the 15, but still pretty damn cool. I got to get relaxed and rest my feet on the seats and sit wherever I wanted.

But yeah, on to the movie. I loved how it started off with Christmas music. The security guard was CREEPY as fuck. And I even laughed at him a few times. Man, I thought I was weird.

The gore was pretty damn sweet. The car scene and the dog scenes ARE brutal. Just, damn. I thought the movie wasn't dumb or anything, so that's a plus.

The ending was pretty damn sweet. But I was like "bitch, the police will prob. think you went crazy and never suspect the guy to be a killer". Since she had no proof he did the things.

The homeless lady scene had me laughing my ass off. Ahahahah GOD. Thank God we were the only three in the theatre because people would've told me to STFU.

The end shot where she's walking and it's snowing = beautiful.

So yeah, P2 baby!!! Totally worth the $5.75! Yeah, the awesome theatre here has matinee prices ALL DAY on Tuesday. From the regular nightly prices of $7.75. Totally worth the money and was a lot better than I expected. Because I went into the theatre with low expectations considering the horrible reviews and box office failure it's gotten.

I thought so too. Was an emotional shot almost. Rare in horror movies.

lmmfao, I'm glad they didn't give it a cheesy ending. Something like her walking and then here he comes driving a car and he's badly burnt. Then she runs and it's over.

The keys to those cars were in that one room she was hiding, right? Or did I see it wrong? If she did set the alarms off, wouldn't he easily find the keys and turn it off?
