    Charlie Wilson's War

Another good movie from Hanks, but far from winning any awards. Decent comedy here and there and an overall interesting story. I enjoyed it.

I agree. Good and very much worth watching, but not the greatest thing ever. The scene in his office where Phillip Seymour Hoffman had to keep walking out cuz his secretaries kept coming in was hilarious.

I probably won't get around to seeing this in theaters but I'm looking forward to DVD. Looks good.

This was a damned good movie. I thought it was going to be another cheap ass Oscar ploy for Hanks but I came away quite entertained. The dialog was sharp and funny and I loved the stock footage scenes with classical music.

Could have done without Julia Roberts, but PSH kicked all sorts of ass as per usual.

I remember watching Magnolia last year and thinking, "Why weren't people recognizing how good of an actor Hoffman is until Capote?"

Because he's fat, looks funny and has tons of talent.

The perfect recipe for going unnoticed in Hollywood.
