Caught this indie flick earlier starring Christian Slater and Elisha Cuthbert and I thought it was good. It offers an interesting and original premise, and Slater plays a role that you wouldn't normally see him in.
It basically follows Slater as a lonely man who hates his job and his co-workers, and plans to one day take out a handful of'em with the revolver he leaves in his desk at work. On the day he decides to do it, another man kills a bunch of workers, leaving Slater to kill the new gunmen with said-revolver. Now his life has changed, everyone knows his name and considers him a hero, and the woman whom he lusted after is now bound to a wheelchair and is dependent on his care.
However, things begin to turn rocky as the film progresses and the climax presents itself. I enjoyed the movie – it was clever and a breath of fresh air from the garbage we’re usually given from Hollywood.
