Pretty much. Although, I doubt the Gear 2 on PS3 though seeing how I believe Epic has no rights over Gears 1 and 2. But 3 could go to the PS3 but what for by then you know? Epic said they were making a 'Gears like' trilogy to the PS3. I believe them because if you look at UT3 and Gears they look the same character wise.

From what I heard, MS is going to try to buy Epic this summer. Dunno how true it is, but it could make things interesting.

Either way, I loved GoW. I hope theres a decent collectors edition like the first one.

Wow, I just not wet my pants from not caring, really didnt like this game, the control scheme, or the story. Not my taste I guess.

While it's no surprise there's a sequel, I really thought this game and its steroid induced cast were as over hyped as a Ridley Scott movie.

Time to head down to Gamestop and reserve this beast. I have yet to find a game that gave me as much online play enjoyment as this.

As much as I liked the first game, I refuse to reserve this one. Only if the technical hiccups from the first one are fixed will I buy it. I'm talking control scheme improved and the "shotgun host=god" shit. I got so tired of having to shoot in front of people to register hits on ranked matches and most of the player matches. I know the graphics are a big selling point of the game, but when it comes at a cost of playability then another solution needs to be found. R6:Vegas dumbed down the graphics on MP slightly just so they could have larger matches and it had virtually no host advantage or lag (as long as host had good latency of course).

I'm playing CoD4 and gonna be playing Vegas 2 until something that completely blows my mind comes out anyway. I really do hope it's GoW2, because they could do great things with this trilogy.

Even Rainbow 6 Vegas didn't do for me online what Gears did....I admit the host=god thing was a bit rediculous....but I still remember having an unbelievably good time staying up all night playing online whether it be in ranked, or player matches. I'm also psyched about R6V 2, that should tide me over for online till Gears 2 comes out.

Improve the coding for Multiplayer and you have a surefire excellent game,

by the way, even though there is no info currently on what GOW 2 will include feature wise, Epic games just happened to show off their latest version of The Unreal Engine and isn't it just ironic they used GOW to show it off at about the same time GOW2 was announced...:nod:
