My vote for TCM was not for the movie alone. It was for the impact it had on the horror industry, the shock ways it sent when released and the fact that it's so popular today. On all those levels is rates higher then The Thing in my book.

The Thing is sweet as hell, but it has never been a movie that I feel could win something like this. It deserves the place in history that it has, it's a big movie for everything that it has done, I just had alot of other favorites growing up, TCM being one of them.

It was a successful movie game tournament IMO.

No predictable Romero/Halloween ending.

Competitive tournament.
