No, you're not trapped in a David Lynch movie (again), that's actually a link from an MTV blog reporting on the latest attempt at a Suspiria remake. They think the original is "gosh darn scary" and, oh wait I just threw up, sorry, what was I saying? Seems as if some hip indie director finished watching Juno and the Argento name drop pointed him in the direction of which to spread his disease. Expect it to open wide next year with an endorsement from Quentin Tarantino and a soundtrack by the Polyphonic Spree.
"Some classy shiat." How fucking insightful. Just because you're talking to a blogger from MTV doesn't mean you have to converse at a 6th grade level. How about, "Yes it's an expressionistic masterpiece and I would like to reinterpretize the colours and juxtapositions blah blah other jargon I learnt in a film school I paid way too much for"? I might have been able to live with that, for about three seconds, but "classy shiat" is something I'd expect to hear leaving a showing of 10,000 B.C. in the ghetto. Keep your trendy pop culture away from great works of art and remake Blood Feast instead.
