I don't want it to be remade, not just because it is my favorite horror film of all time or because I think Robert is the only man able to play Freddy. I personally don't think there is any young actor out there with the talent to bring the energy needed for Freddy once again conquer the silver screen. At the very least, Englund should choose his replacement.

There's always the chance of him choosing a slightly inferior actor, so his legacy will live on in fans saying, "Yeah, the new Freddy's good.....but just not QUITE as good as Englund."
