    King of California

This was an entertaining and fun little movie that seems to have been swept under the rug for some reason, despite a name like Michael Douglas set as the lead. Basically follows a man who is released from an institution, only to go on a search for supposed hidden treasure somewhere in California. Reluctantly accompanied by his independent daughter, the duo set out to seek out this treasure. Good story and had a handful of funny moments.

    7/10

I liked it a lot, Douglas does a good nutty performance. Overall pretty funny, entertaining, and quirky little flick.

I remember it coming out, but never actually watched it.

I tend to enjoy these small indy films that get forgotten. Mostly because they're not poisoned by Hollywood. There are some pretty big names in it but not alot of publicity. Anyway, great flick with some hilarious scenes. I loved it for the originality. 8/10.
