its the PG-13 rating thats gonna kill it. If it was R I would atleast be interested enough to watch it thinking it might have some good kills in it if nothing else. But the rating got rid of that idea. So now it doesn't appeal to me at all. If i hear its suprisingly good (which I'm doubting) then I'll rent it.

The original in no way is so good that a well done remake couldn't top it.

Technically it's not a remake. The plot of this one has far more potential. BUT, being PG-13...uggghh... :nono:

well IMO the OG sucks mad goat balls..so couldnt be to hard to out do it..but then again its Pg13..when are cinemas gonna get the idea that a horror movie cant be pg13, R or above

I think now'a'days as soon as we hear "remake" we jump right in and say "Oh, this is gonna suck" but why not give it a chance until it comes out. Granted a remake is not needed but perhaps it'll be good.
Prob won't be good but really who knows.

usually we can tell if a remake is going to be good or not. This one looks pretty close to When a Strangers Calls, I doubt I'll see this film.
