3 Hours till GTA 4

When you guys get to the part where you have to choose to kill Dwayne or Player X, lemme know what you choose.

Just beat it earlier today, final mission I beat before I had to go, I tooke out Dwayne, though I really didn't want to take out either or them.

I ended up taking out Player X, only because I felt sorry for the Dwayne character, but after doing so, Dwayne just became my friend, and doesn't offer missions anymore. I was hoping him and I would team up and start taking over the city, but so far that hasn't happened. However, I did get to take over Player X's crib. :nod:

Anyone else having probs loading the game sometimes? I notice when I start up my PS3 with the game already inside, that it'll get stuck on the loading screen after all the images make their normal run. However, if I start the PS3, then put in the game, it'll load normally.

yeah its an issue sometimes it wont load or if u do something it freezes during a cut secne i usually make a save after a mission and another save before i go online to do a deathmatch if the auto load messes up i delete it and it goes to a save befor i tried online and that usually solves the problem

Nah, Playboy X didn't give me any new missions, I think you might just be done with that story arc. You can check the percentage of missions you have completed for a person in the general stats column in the start menu, so maybe that just that, but believe me that stuff after that gets better, at least i think.

about the same 32 or 33, I just stole a helicopter on the last mission I did,

Kind of crazy with all that has happened so far in the story that we're only in 1/3 of the way. Hats off to Rockstar on that, most games are lucky to be 10-12 hrs.

I failed it two times so far -- first it took off before I could get to it since I spent too much time earlier on (not knowing it was timed), second I died before I could take off, because a couple dudes were still shooting me. It's a pretty easy mission, I just have bad luck.

Have you done much for Brucie? I stopped doing missions for him when I got that dumbass racing mission. I hate races and timed crap.

last mission I did for Brucie was pretending Niko was gay to get to that guy called French Tom. I thought that one was pretty funny, specifically if you read Niko's and his profile. But since then I've been doing missions for that mystery guy and tried to do one with Packie but failed a bunch of times.

Hilarious mission! Some of these missions are really great. I also like the job interview one, since after killing the dude, you have to fight your way out. I think the race is the next mission for Brucie. To be honest, I hate the guy, and I'm hoping that I don't need to complete missions for him, at least not until towards the end of the game.

The last one I had for Packie was stealing some drugs from these mafia guys. It was made double-difficult when we also had the cops shooting at us. I hate the police in this game, there are entirely to many cops cars around. The only good thing is that they're fairly easy to lose.

Brucie can get kind of annoying, but I think he can be kind of funny. Especially the part about the bullshark testoserone.

also the radio station integrity is pretty damn awesome.

And yea the cops are plentiful, but like you said they are typically easy to lose up until past 3 stars, then the feds start poppin up.

Not a big fan of the music in this one. I heard Smashing Pumpkins once, but never heard it again. Other than that, most of the artists or bands, I've never heard of, especially the ones that aren't rock related.

There's a pretty cool easter egg in the Statue of Happiness. Get to the area just below her feet, and walk inside. Climb up the ladder and you'll find something neat (I'll let it be a surprise).

GTA 4 has a known freezing issue in the beginning of the game for some PS3 60 gig versions and Xbox 360. no known fix yet.

there may not be a known fix yet, but thats pretty much the reason for me and for most people who have a ps3, have you ever tried this Fright? See if the psn fucks up your load

I hate brucie. The mission I need to do for him right now is the one where you go take a car that was left by the guy you killed. Then all those guys get after you after you grab it. They keep killing me before I get anywhere. I hate Brucies missions. I just got asked to kill Dwayne or X myself, but I'm guessin theres no much of a difference. The strip club was a let down since nothing really happens. Was funny though that the controller vibrates when they rub on you.
