Great White from Enzo G. Castellari. Absolutely HORRIBLE Jaws-ripoff, but so much damn fun. Watched it the other night, possibly the best unintentional comedy ever made. Loves me some Italian cheese.

Caught it on MST3K many years ago haha. Still haven't seen it without Mike and the bots giving commentary, but definitely a classic of terrible cinema!
Great White is great because it's like the most ridiculous shark film ever made. The shark charges under a boat and knocks it twelve feet into the air, uses tools to trap humans and can swim backwards while plotting out its devious plans for taking on the humans. So out of touch with reality it's entertaining.
On a more serious note, the last horror flicks I really enjoyed were Bad Biology (not for all tastes, but if you like Henenlotter you'll probably dig it), The Burning Moon (not particularly a 'great' film, but awesome gore) and I have a few Kiyoshi Kurosawa flicks I need to check out that will probably jump up my list of recommendations.

You know it wasn't that bad, certainly one of the more inventive takes on the cannibal sub-genre.
