PS3 Firmware 2.40

I've been running folding@home for about 7 days straight now. I suppose I'll take a break from that to install it some time today.

Supposedly there were lots of problems, and if you sign back on, you have to downgrade to the last version. Has this happened to anyone?

nah i was playing today with 2.40
they pulled the upgrade because its making peoples ps3's brick

Gotta say it looks like a PS3 is in my future for a multitude of reasons.

- RE5
- Basically a cheaper Blu Ray
- GTA and MGS4

Just read on G4 that 2.41 is now available, 2.40 messed up my buddy's system. So is the in game xmb supposed to be like the 360's dashboard, or is it just a messenger service for it? Kinda looking forward to the trophy aspect.
