Films You're Surprised To See In FrighT's Must See List!

I'm surprised to see the remake of "The Grudge" on it. I mean, it was good, but nothing amazing. PG-13 rating killed it. And the boy who meows is laughable. Probably something you wouldn't pay for full price on DVD, but wait a few months until it's in the $5, or $9.99 section.

"Identity". Wow, what a piece of crap. Saw it on HBO a few years ago and disliked it. The "twist" ending makes no sense at all, and completely ruins the entire film.

"Leatherface: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre III". Yeah, all the old TCM sequels SUCK ASS.

"Saw III". Definitely the worst SAW film. The plot tries to be great, but it's not. I hate new characters. The "twist" was WEAK. I mean, he was just teaching her? And yeah, I fell asleep during it so I finished where I left off when I woke up.

Hated The Grudge but I liked Saw III and Identity. I thought both those movies were clever.

The Underworld movies. I didnt hate them but I thought they where just to predictable and the dialogue was so bad in the first one it was laughable.

I like most of those movies actually. But I did realize looking at the list that I have never seen "Event Horizon".........adding it to my netflix queue.

I think this would be a good list if you're trying to give an idea of contemporary horror movies to someone who doesn't know much about the genre. But yeah, for the people on the message boards, I can see how the choices would be a bit controversial.
I certainly don't consider the Underworld or Resident evil movies - and ESPECIALLY not The Grudge - to be must-sees.

Anything I gave an 8 or 9 are added to that list automatically. They're just my opinion, and I generally base my ratings how much I enjoyed a movie. If this post was made to simply criticize everything on that list then I don't see the point in letting this remain open
