The worst Halloween sequel

First let me say that this thread was inspired by Koolmike's F13th thread

There are alot of bad sequels to the Halloween series, nobody can deny that. The tough question being which is the worst. Because there are some serious stinkers in the lot.
There was no poll in Mike's thread and that worked out really well, so i'm not messin with that.

For me the worst sequel, without question was H20.
The movie had zero gore, 3 killings, and completely ignored parts 4 & 5. Which I enjoyed MUCH more. I could have argued part 3 until Resurection popped on the scene

Thankfully, my friend steered me away from part 3, so I never watched it. From all the one's I've seen (all of them but 3), Resurection was the worst. Horrible movie, that was.

Resurrection and H20 are the worst hands down they're the only ones of the sequels I don't watch except part 3 which I've never and will never count as a sequel.

For me it comes down to Resurection vs. Halloween 5 as I honestly dont believe Halloween 3 was that bad of a movie. I know its been said a billion times before and has become a cliche onto itself. If the movie was called anything but Halloween, people probably wouldnt have had as much of a problem with it.

Nevertheless, for me it comes down to H5 vs H8. Even though I find Halloween 4 overpraised, no question its better than Halloween 5 which is more or less a mirror version of 4 with minor changes.

Of course Resurection was more of a WTF sequel than Halloween 3 but much worse. Busta Rhymes pwning Myers was single handidly the worst Halloween moment of all time. On top of that, the rest of the movie was really meh overall. Killing Laurie I was fine with, far as I was concerned that story should've ended with H20 along with the series.

In the end, I guess H8 edges out H5.

Halloween 6, no matter what version you see isnt that bad IMO because it kept the grim, darkness of the first two entries. Myers was also particularly more brutal in that movie as well.

I have two DVDs of it. Both about the same quality, but one doesnt have the scene numbers at the bottom and top of the screen and one does.

No doubt the 8th is the worst. Season of the Witch was good I thought, though I was disappointed there was no MM in it.
