For those with an all-region DVD player. There is a German Edition of this DVD out. Granted it lacks special features, but it does come with with widescreen edition of the film, not found on the HBO Home Video release.

Wow, that is a horrible DVD cover. That has to be from another film. Good to know though. It's hard to find. I would love to see some special features on this. But that will probably never happen. I really want to see those cut scenes.

Wonder what the difference is between the link you posted and this one (the cover art is a lot better):

Both seem to be widescreen, but the runtimes are different. One is 87 min. The other is 90. Maybe one has the extra scenes shown on TV?

I haven't seen it in probably 10 or 15 years...but from what I remember, it lacked action and a lot of the gore was "after the fact".

It's true, but I still love it. Not as much as Aliens or The Fly or The Thing or anything like that, but it's a lot of fun. The interplay between Stone and Durkin makes the movie for me. The monster is just a ripoff of Alien, but I love Alien so that just endears it all the more, and it has some good atmosphere when they're down in the sewers.

I love how Durkin is chomping cigars and acting just as crazy as Stone at the end. They can finish each other's sentences. "We need to get bigger guns. Big f*ckin guns."
