Bay of Blood is the bridge between the giallo and the slasher. There's elements of both in it, which is why it's so hard to categorize it into just 1 of the subgenres.. Friday the 13th would later use the same formula, except it's primarily a slasher with just a hint of giallo-ness (my cool new word).

Just watched Strange Vice, liked it alot more than Your Vice.. the ending! Wow.. I ran alot of possibilities through my head during this movie, and most of them actually turned out to be correct, except the final few minutes, didn't see that one coming... 9/10. Probably my 2nd favourite Giallo i've seen so far. Black Belly Of the Tarantula is my 3rd..

I finished watching A Blade in the Dark Last night...steelba was right the movie inside the movie sounded more interesting. The ending was WAY too predictable, saw it coming a mile away...a bad thing for a giallo. It should keep me guessing the whole way through. I liked the cinemotography and the acting was ok.
6/10...maybe 7/10 cuz the girl that got nekked was hot

Blade in the Dark was originally made for TV, so in that respect it was good.
It was fairly bland, but still better than 'The Killer Must Kill Again'

Your Vice is a Locked Room and Only I have the Key will be viewed today. I have Black Belly Of the Tarantula d/l right now. I really enjoyed Tenebre...alot. I was thinking of spending alittle more time with Argento's films.....maybe this so called "animal trilogy" films or maybe Deep Red. Whatcha think? I got some time on my hands. This is where I want to be right now.

Deep Red is another one of his masterpieces, definitely recommend .. Bird With the Chrystal Plummage and Opera are also quite enjoyable Argento Flicks.. Enjoy the two you have!
