I saw "Opera". Good kills, but, of course, the ending was silly. Can't beat "Tenebre" though! Fucking classic; plently of spectacular kills, lots of pretty girls, amazing cinemetography, and of course, that awesome doberman. "Suspiria" was okay as a movie, but the music scared the ever-loving FUCK outta me! :shakes:

Also, I've got a friend who would let me borrow "Case of the Scorpion's Tale" ans "Black Belly of the Tarantula." Are they worth my time?

Lastly, I also like "Phenomena". In fact it's probably my favorite of Argento's next to "Tenebre", but could one really consider it a giallo?

I suppose I could have been kinder to Scorpion but I wouldn't put it above a 5, and I was really let down when I saw it. The opening music still sticks with me though

I haven't had much time to watch any movies as of late, and sad to say, I have a lot of the movies discussed here, but they haven't even been unwrapped from their packaging
I am going to attempt to start on this during the week and was wondering where I should start. I have Black Belly of The Tarantula, Your Vice is A Locked Room..., Strip Nude For Your Killer, The Case of The Bloody Iris, French Sex Murders, Naked You Die (I am detecting a sleaze pattern, score!), The Killing Hour, and Macchie Solari AKA Autopsy. Any suggestions?
Also, is there any other giallo that matches up to Torso in brutality? I would love to see another giallo like that if it exists.

Death Carries a Cane is pretty brutal, and French Sex Murdurs is an AWFUL film!
Your Vice is Excellent, so is Black Belly, you have a lot of good flix on that list :thumbup3:

If you appreciate sleaze factor (I did not read all posts - can be a repeat) watch The Sister of Ursula, Giallo a Venezia (still unreleased in America), So Sweet, So Dead, and Naked Girl Killed in the Park.

My favorite - cynical Giallo a Venezia. Brutal killings, sex, and Mariangela Giordano in her usual nude glory. Same folks made Patrick Still Lives.

Haven't heard of Giallo a Venezia, and have yet to see Patrick Still Lives, although I did see Patrick. Thanks for all the info! I guess there are a lot more giallos out there than I thought.

Strip Nude For Your Killer

My gf blind bought this for me, and it had its moments (all of the sleazy models) but I was a bit let down by the blood. The outfit the killer was in made me crack up though. I'm going to have to track down Torso. Also, Steelba, it has been baffling me. I recognize your sig pick, but can't put my finger on it, where's it from?

Even though I've owned it for quite a while, I'm going to see Torso on the big screen at the end of the month. Portland has a pretty cool "Grindhouse Film Fest" that comes around every month or so. Torso is part of their double feature which also is playing the flick Pieces!

I'd kill to see Torso on the big screen. I don't own a copy of the movie, but I have seen it. of course I'd kill just to get the dvd. I have found a copy of Death Carries a Cane suprisingly cheap at that. All I have to do is await it's arrival. My giallo collection grows
