Yeah I agree with that, I actually thought the heavily edited Creepers version of it wasn't bad. Most of the gore was left intact but a lot of the filler was removed. Not one of the better Argento efforts imo..

Just watched Eyes Of Crystal last night. All though it doesn't wallow in gore, the death scenes are excellently crafted. It still manages to show us how brutal murder can be. It has excellent performances.....Giacomo ... nice visuals and atmosphere. I give Puglielli a round of applause for making this film so damned engaging.....8/10

Not the goriest film out there but it was very effective and I loved the look of the film. They really did a great job shooting it and keeping the film downbeat.
