I'll have to read the graphic novel before I make any judgements, but I've heard nothing but good about it. Trailer to me looked great, looks really interesting.

I think I'm gonna go read this at the book store this week. And I retract my "weird" statement. I saw the new Spirit trailer, WAY weirder looking than this.

I am going to not read the graphic novel as a matter of pride.

Guys, listen. Over the next six months we are going to see a lot of fans of the graphic novel. "Oh yea, like, I totally read it before the movie." No kidding. They've been reprinting them ever since the movie got hinted at.

I dislike that person so much that I refuse to even come close to being that guy.

Movie still looks like fun. It reminds me of the late 80s / early 90s, when there were a lot of startup companies putting together their own superhero pantheons. Given the source material, that probably makes a lot more sense.

I was a non believer of the book before I read it and I dismissed everyone saying "Read it!", but this is a very good read. I'm not going to say this is a must read, as I'm not that kind of person, but I haven't heard one person say they didn't like the book. The movie would probably interest more into the book, but I would recommend reading it before the movie hits theaters. Time Magazine chose the GN as one of the 100 greatest English novels from 1923 to the present. Not in a special comic category, but actual books. That shows how great it really is.

I had the comics when I was a kid. Wish I still did. I'm very excited to see this film. It's a great concept.
