Both of them were quality films. I would probably lean towards Lost boys though as it was the first horror film i owned.

Fright Night is much better than Near Dark :shakehead

They're both fine additions to the vampire film cannon, but I prefer Fright Night. There have been times when I've literally watched it 3 times in a row. Can't do that with The Lost Boys.
