A friend of mine and me were talking about possibilities of villains for the next movie if there is one and we really couldn't think of any logical ones other than The Riddler. They should just put him in it and leave it with him or maybe throw in a Catwoman but I would keep it simple and let the next one be the last. There is no way they can beat what they've accomplished with The Dark Knight and I think most know it.

The problem is, if they wanted to out do themselves then they put the movies in the wrong order. No villian battle could be more epic then that of the batman and the joker. Granted he has some cool villians out there, but the joker is the best. It's basically impossible at this point for the next movie to be better.

it seems that everyone here has seen TDK so I don't care about spoilers. Two Face WILL be in the third flick. Why? when gordon mentioned he wouldn't show the bad part of dent to the public and make seem he was dead is a major giveaway. Harvey died but two face didn't. Two face is more than likely in arkyam along with the joker. Scarecrown will be in the third film as well. Even though he was in TDK for about 2 min. doesn't mean to rule him out yet. I can see the Riddler in the third film but the way the comic ark is now, well they might have to follow that. My final word for sure is Two Face and Scarecrow with a hint of Riddler. I can understand why they dont want Bane in yet because you need Robin first. And I remember an Interview with Bale saying they or he doesn't want Robin in there at all.

Well Nolan doesn't do movies the traditional way, he goes one by one, so there may be 1 more movie or 2 or 3. So with that I really think The Riddler will be the next villian, but ever since I heard David Tennant is considered for the role I cant really think of anyone better. As for Catwoman I think she should be held off for at least 1 more film, get the taste of that horrible Catwoman movie out of people's mouths. And I think The Joker will HAVE to eventually be recast, he is Batmans #1 Villian and will eventually break out of Arkam. Two Face of course will be back, I REALLY doubt he is dead, just got really fucked up. Then onto Mr. Freeze, I agree that it could be done well if they cast Patrick Stewart, because he doesn't HAVE to be such a fantasy character, I'm confident Nolan could make a realistic Mr. Freeze. And NO Penguin, I think theyd just make him another mob scum bag in Nolans series, with no real appeal.

When the paramedics would eventually show up, wouldn't they check Two-Face's vital signs? And wouldn't people find out about Two-Face being in Arkham?
How can you have a hint of Riddler? He's a major villain and there's no way you can make him a small character.
Why would you need Robin for Bane? That doesn't add up.

No. It's not a reference. Bruce said "Two faced phonies" in BB. That didn't mean Two-Face was going to be in the next one. Simple coincidence. If Fox started talking about dolls, that wouldn't mean Scarface and the Ventriloquist would be in the third one. It was a line put in for humor, nothing more.

lol Touche, there probably isnt anyone who can do as great a job of playing The Joker as Ledger, but i think they could find someone who could do a good job and not screw it up, I'd say they should cast an unknown actor who could do a good job at copying Ledger's performance. Besides I'd say hold off using The Joker again untill after another sequel or two.

as for Mr. Freeze's freeze gun, I'm not sure how they could turn that into a real world thing, but I think if they really put their minds to it that Nolan and his team could come up with something unique. flash freezing things isnt too far fetched as it seems, its how frozen food gets frozen.

If they are going for a realistic villain, I'd say go for Killer Croc... at least in a main henchman role. He's a big musclebound murderer with an extemely bad (and real) skin disorder, file-sharpened teeth and very piss-poor disposition... nothing too fantastic or unbelievable there.

Hmmm how about The Black Mask, or if the rumors are true, MAYBE Deathstroke, because apparently at ToyFair the Dark Knight movie figures included Deathstroke so that has me interested as to if he might show up

A shame that the Joker wont be played by Ledger again because if Ledger were still alive you could really have him carry another movie while bringing in another villain.
