I liked RE:Extinction. I really can't tell you why, but it was dumb fun. I couldn't care all that much about the franchise though. They should wrap it up IMO.

Ah I LOVE Resident Evil, but even I think that Extinction was utter shit. I say let that series die, time for a reboot. As for the CGI movie, I cant wait to see it, IT MIGHT get a theatrical release because capcom says they have 3 movie projects in the works, which if it does I'd love that. I'm wondering which main character dies in Degeneration, because it was announced at leats 1 main character is killed off

You figure Capcom would realize how much of an abomination the live action films have been spite the cash they've brought in and just stop their production or cut the Anderson association from the films in the future.

All that said, the CGI film should deliver just for the sheer fact that its going to be something canon to the story. I wouldnt expect people to be walking around picking up items and solving puzzles if people think thats going to happen. I doubt it, its going to be a mix of action/horror. You cant incorperate RPG into a movie, but you can make a story.

I think it will be good, and hopefully we can see some more of claire redfeild. I know it's mostly about alice but i wanna see some more of clair because she was badass in the games. I think they should put valentine back in there aswell she's badass too.:nod:

Yes Leon is in the CGI movie, so is Claire. remember this has NOTHING to do with the live action films, its suppose to fill in a huge chunk of the game story thats missing. Supposedly it covers what each main character has been up to since each of their last appearances, and like I said above, at least 1 main character is getting off'd in it.

That'd be fucking amazing to see a more accurate Resident Evil. Even if they went by SD Perry's novels, I'd be alright with them including a little extra to the story. But rewriting it? WTF?! Why are these movies even called Resident Evil?

Now that I think about it, yeah the books would have been better movie scripts than the Anderson dribble. They might not be the 'official' story, but they would have at least been truer to the feel of the series.
