I gotta go with the second one, just cuz that scene where she fell into the put of needles always stuck with me. That one got to me. I never watched part 4 though cuz I'm kinda over this series. But if it ever comes on showtime or fearnet I'll give it a watch.

I'm not a big fan of any of them. I think they are all over-rated. The first one when I first saw (heh heh get it saw..) it I was underwhelmed. The 2nd I enjoyed the new direction it took but I expected something more. The 3rd was crap with a terrible plot and only served to try and "gross" out the audience with bloody kills and rotting pig. It took all the uniquness away from 1 and 2.

I never saw the 4th so I don't have an opinion on it

I too had no fuckin' clue what to expect from the 1st one. Definitely original, definitely shocking. Though, as an overall movie experience I think it's gotta go to part 2. The pit of needles is amazing.

Part 2.The first was great but the second just did it for me more.The 3rd was ok and I dug the 4th.

I'll be the odd guy here... I think 3 was the best. Not the scariest and not the goriest but the best. It tried somewhat to add a moral aspect to the series. I watched the first one wondering if i could cut my own foot off. I watched the second and the fourth thinking about the "Twist" and how gory they were.

That's how it was for me too Driden. I saw the first one because the idea sounded insane but I liked the second one better. The rest BLAH..
