Fav CCR Tune?

When you really look at CCR's tunes they are 3 or 4 chords with catchy lyrics and for a short time when the Beatles broke up these guys were the biggest band in the world.

They got there name from a mixture of 3 different things...

Creedence - A friends name

Clearwater - A beer commercial

Revival - How they felt about playing their music

Great band. It's a tie between Born on a Bayou and Fortunate Son.

Green River... something about driving down a country road with this cranked, windows rolled down and the wind blowing your hair... pure heaven for the three or so minutes.

Any CCR is great though, i have their double disc greatest hits on my ipod and for any road trip i go through both as much as i can. Great classic rock band.

A band called TT Quick does an amazing copy of FS.

It was close between FS amd Bad Moon Rising....BMR won out.

great band and really hard to choose but I went with Born on the Bayou. Love that song, although heard it through the grapevine is a favorite of mine too.
