Okay don't go all crazy i know it was a corny film but i liked it. Yeah it didn't deliver the best bloody scenes, or even gore which is my favorite, but it was alright. I like that it had a bit suspense in it, and a little motive going there. But man they could have done a hell of a better job. I also liked part two, but not to much to comment about besides how they gave some more story behind the killer. Other than that i give it, 6/10 .

saw it in the theaters when it first came out, but i got drunk (put vodka in a water bottle) and got thrown out right before the end. never watched it again

It's one of these movies that I'd only watch on a really boring day when there's nothing else to watch. My folk's friend lives in the town where they filmed the majority of the film. That's probably the only other reason why I'd watch it as well.

Made to cash in off the Scream craze and it was loosely based off the novel. Not that im one those 'novel is always better' nutlovers no offense.

I enjoyed the movie, as dark joker said. The scenary in the film is pretty good. It had 4 people who were fairly hip/fresh at the time. Phillipe and Gellar still get work whereas Hewitt is basically a fodder tv actor along with Prinze.

It wasnt gory or anything new. It was entertaining though and their are plenty worse movies out there. The sequel was entertaining as well but the plot was so far fetched compared to the first film that it kinda brought the film down alot before you really get into it.

This used to be my favorite horror movie when I was a kid. The feel of it is just creepy. A lot of the atmosphere reminds me of "The Fog". I like a lot of the just-out-of-view shots they did. Like when Helen is on her way upstairs to her bedroom, and the camera goes up to show Ben Willis disappear into it right before she looks up. That used to scare the hell out of me.

Way more entertaining than "Scream".

If you made a horror movie in the same vain as Scream from 96 to at the very least 99-00. You had a great chance at scoring a big number at the box office with few exceptions.

The third made me want to kill myself. The first two were entertaining, but as mentioned before, they're not films that I watch very often. Only when I'm bored and in the mood for a little trip down memory lane. The highlight of the first movie is Helen's chase scene.
